Kinvara Tidy Towns
Kinvara Tidy Towns are foremost a group whose passions are our Community, Youth and our Environment.
These form the pillars and focus of our ongoing work and plans. Our overall vision is to enhance the village we live in by encouraging pride and ownership in community projects and activities to make Kinvara a great place to Live, Work and Visit.
This manifests in all our interactions with our community through our mission “Love this place”. We feel a huge environmental protection responsibility, with our Village being located at the foothills of the Burren and on the shoreline of Galway Bay. We see our village, with the “Wild Atlantic Way” running through it, looking its best as a strong contribution to support our local tourism businesses.
There is a lot being done, check out our Social Media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and in the “News” section of this website, but as always, there is a lot more that needs doing! We will always welcome and are looking for new volunteers to help out.
If you feel you could help out, even if only in a small way, please come along to one of our weekly outdoor meet ups at the Kinvara Community Centre on Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 10am. In the summer time, from May to August, we also meet on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm – Everyone is Welcome!
