Biodiversity
Kinvara and its surrounding area, has a very high level of Biodiversity, given its unique position at the foothills of the Burren, a UNESCO site and is designated as an area of scientific interest. Kinvara bay is part of the Inner Galway Bay Complex Special Area of Conservation with SAC and SPA designations.
