Youth

Focusing on Youth is one of the most important things we can do. They are quite simply  “The Future of our village and Planet”.

With strong youth development, we can create environments that instil pride, foster personal growth and empower them to thrive through our school outreach programmes and volunteering with our community.

We primarily spend time with Four Areas of youth in our Community:

1. Kinvara Earthkeepers
2. St. Joseph’s National School
3. Northampton National School
4. Seamount College

Kinvara Earthkeepers program is the Kinvara Tidy Towns Junior program. The main goal of the Kinvara Earthkeepers program, is to foster a connection and love of nature in National School children, whilst spending time with their families outside of school.

Our activities range from Tree Planting, Community Meitheals, events and workshops.

Kinvara Earthkeepers group also schedule and complete beach cleans in January and May through September each year in partnership with Kinvara Tidy Towns. The Beach cleans are completed at Traught and Aughinish.

Outreach with primary and secondary school goal is to support Green-Schools programme objectives, provide and sign post expertise and project resources. To support learning, research and projects in school and community.
