We are one of the most visible groups in our village. We are one of over 80 active groups in Kinvara.  We seek to support our community through our school outreach programmes,  shop local first campaigns, festivals,  sustainability and biodiversity projects across our businesses, community groups, schools, clubs, residential estates and wider community.  And are always striving to make Kinvara a great place to work, visit. We love  to collaborate and this is reflected in our social media and application form each. We are regularly approached to collaborate and we seek to build capacity, know how and community engagement by doing so regularly.

We identify needs and improvements in a number of ways each year to feed into our three-year plan.

Once a year, we hold a structured planning session to capture needs that arose in the previous year. This is following consultation with the Community council, area engineer and councillor walk around village,  residents, feedback from Tidy Towns report, our own volunteers, sports clubs, schools, heritage group, ICA, benchmarking with other Tidy Towns groups and finally identifying gaps in standards and practices with respect to the Tidy Towns handbook for each section of the standard.

We then identify priorities and projects due to start each year and improvement initiatives for our annual work plan which we review regularly. The annual plan and three year plans are reviewed also at our AGM.
