Galway County Council Tidy Towns network meeting

A highlight of our year was the co hosting of the Galway County Council Tidy Towns network meeting in the beautiful Burren Nature Sanctuary & Botanical Collection on the 9th of March 2024.
The aim was to network, share experiences, expertise, challenges, solutions and supports. Special thanks to Mary McGann, Denise Feeney, Rosina Joyce, Mark Molloy and Marie Mannion for their time ! Its great to have and share the supports available from Galway County Council. And there are many we learnt from expertise, grants, resources and knowledge sharing to name a few.
Look forward to many more catch ups. We in Kinvara Tidy Towns are like all Tidy towns in the throes of getting ready for the summer and our leaving cert is a visit from the national tidy towns adjudicators. As we ended our meeting, we spoke about what we do is so more than the traditional tidy towns perception, we are custodians, environmentalists and lovers of this beautiful county we live in. We wish all our fellow tidy towns all the best in the season ahead and where we can help another tidy town, please touch base. Together we are much stronger and can do so much more. Our community has just expanded through this event and that is so powerful!
