Sustainability Tips Series No.11 – Keep an eye on your PSI

If you’re a driver, make sure that your tires are sufficiently inflated and check them weekly and after a Long drive. Small tyre gauges are cheap these days and available from many stores.

Low tire pressure means more fuel/battery power is required to move your car, which will increase your fuel bill/reduce your electric vehicles mileage, and the size of your carbon footprint. Under or over inflated tyres will also cause uneven and premature tyre wear and cause poor handling and poor grip.
