Talk about the birds…
Did you know that Aughinish, Doorus Peninsula, Tracht and Kinvara bay are some of the best places to see native birds and birds that migrate here. Which indeed are signs of a healthy ecosystem. However we need to start looking at ways to help with natural habitats, climate mitigating actions and how we interact around birds
Many thanks to our Ian Stone an avid bird watcher and photographer who shared his experiences and photos of wonderful birds and wildlife along the Kinvara coastline.
Awareness and Education are key. Many thanks to St. Joseph’s NS for facilitating.
Our first, second, fourth & fifth classes enjoyed a great informative bird talk today from Ian Stone & Hilda O’Grady Kinvara Tidy Towns.
It was amazing to learn all the bird wildlife that is around us in our locality.
Next time you are at the beach or walking around your area in Kinvara you can watch out for the birds such as Curlews, Lapwings
or even a Goldfinch & many more!
Thank you Ian & Hilda.
