Tree planting in Garrai Ghuaire with Northampton National School

Thrilled today to partner with Northampton National School sixth class pupils to plant 39 native trees (Whitethorn, Rowan, Wild Cherry and Crab Apple) at Garrai Ghuaire development.

This is phase one of planting over a 100 native trees in our village in 2024. This is part of our biodiversity and climate action plan goals 👊 KTT are running the village planting in partnership with Kinvara Ballinderreen Tree Gang 💚 Grateful to Reforestnation for supplying the trees planted.

The school have a very active greenschools programme and have completed the Burrenbeo heritage keepers and An Taisce Climate Ambassador Programme in the last year. They also are a regional Tiny Tidy Towns schools winner in the overall national tidy towns awards in 2023.
